DescriptionEvent time: 9:30am to 4:30pm (full day) 9:30am to 2:15pm (short day) This one-day, virtual instructor-led training aims to provide theory and practical tools to support 16–24-year-olds to flourish in adult services. We are aware that engagement amongst younger clients is poor and we are committed to supporting the workforce to address some of the barriers to engagement. This CPD training event aims to provide theory and practical tools for mental health practitioners who currently work with young people (private therapists, locum PWP and HI practitioners, CBT-trained counsellors, college and sixth form welfare and wellbeing teams, University Counselling and Wellbeing services). The last quarter of the day is focused on CBT techniques; if you wish to opt out of this section, a reduced rate is available for attendance 9.30-2.15 Join this interactive and impactful CPD session to network with peers, share best practice and earn CPD credits whilst enhancing your expertise.

Additional ItemsContactMore InformationThis session will be led by Anjali Mehta Chandar, a Lecturer on the Children’s CBT programmes in CWI. She is an accredited CBT Therapist, currently working with adolescents in a prestigious private school. She has worked with children and adults throughout her career, in multiple types of settings.
