Detailed Description

Streptomyces griseus is included -- this species produces the antibiotic streptomycin. The other three species: Micrococcus roseus; Bacillus subtilis and Saccharomyces carlsbergensis are placed on the same plate to determine which are affected by the antibiotic. Full instructions are provided.
