DescriptionEvent Time : 6.30pm – 8pm (drinks reception from 6pm) The Stenton Lecture is an annual event in the calendar of the Department of History, University of Reading and held in honour of its founders, Sir Frank and Lady Doris Stenton. This year’s lecture will be given by Prof. Carole Rawcliffe (UEA) who will be presenting on ‘Great Stenches, Horrible Sights and Deadly Abominations: The Battle Against Plague in Later Medieval England’.
